The Begin With Love Project
The BEGIN WITH LOVE Project:
Sponsored by the Downtown Streets Team of Palo Alto to raise awareness about homelessness in our community. The aim of this project is to launch a large scale photographic exhibit, created completely by the homeless community, to be placed on public display during the 2011 holiday season and beyond. The exhibit will express moments that reflect not only the serious nature of what is experienced by homelessness, but also the beauty of what we see, like loving actions, giving, and smiles where there were none before. It will also reflect comedy moments, laughs, touching moments, and compassion. We are hoping that this project will inspire & motivate others to get involved in all areas. The homeless bringing to it their dignity & courage, and volunteers bringing their love & generosity.
